NSPT Receives Platinum Award
for First Time in Zero Accident Campaign 2026
NIPPON STEEL PIPE (THAILAND) Co., Ltd. (NSPT), a consolidated subsidiary of NIPPON STEEL CORPORATION (NIPPON STEEL) engaged in the manufacture and sale of electric resistance welded (ERW) pipes and other components for automotive applications in the Kingdom of Thailand, has received the Zero Accident Campaign 2026 Platinum Award for the first time at the 38th National Occupational Safety and Health event held in Thailand.
The Zero Accident Campaign is a nationwide initiative led by the Thai Ministry of Labour and related government agencies aimed at strengthening workplace safety and health activities and reducing occupational accidents. The program recognizes companies and organizations that have achieved zero workplace accidents. The Platinum Award represents the highest honor within this initiative.
NSPT was recognized for its sustained efforts in building a strong safety culture, the steady implementation of daily safety activities, and its outstanding performance, including achieving zero lost-time accidents for 10 consecutive years since 2015.
The award ceremony was held on June 24, 2026, at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, located in the suburbs of Bangkok. The Minister of Labour, Julapun Amornvivat, presented the award plaque and other honors at the ceremony.
